We were delighted to participate in the second plenary meeting of the XR2Learn Open Call, held in Lugano, Switzerland. This gathering was a great opportunity to promote collaboration and innovation, and to share the mission of advancing XR-driven industrial training.

Host institution, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), provided an inspiring venue for a series of high-impact discussions and activities. Participants explored ecosystem-building strategies, platform and support tool development, and educational frameworks that underpin effective XR training.
We had the opportunity to meet and learn from our fellow Open Call 2 winners, including X-De_man, EcoDrive XR, XRive, Portal-XR, Neonatal, Xpotless, RTXroom, XCC, XR2LabTrain, and, of course, our own XRTwinScape.
Together, we reviewed the growing impact of XR and VR technologies on innovation in Europe and discussed how technical training could play a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce. Exchanging ideas (from project progress to collaborative opportunities) strengthened our commitment to elevating immersive learning across sectors.
Thanks to everyone who made the journey and contributed to this enriching meeting. We’re energized by the collective momentum and excited to continue shaping the XR ecosystem together!
